The installation broken due to a car collision has been repaired in Bishkek.
The guilty party voluntarily came to the police and confessed to the crime.
The damaged installation at the intersection of Chuy and Manas Avenues has already been restored. This was reported by the press service of the Bishkek city administration.
"Employees of the municipal enterprise 'Tazalyk' have restored the decorative elements of the installation to their original place," the statement said.
On June 9, 2019, at approximately 11:20 PM, an unknown driver in an unidentified vehicle, traveling south on Manas Avenue, collided with an obstacle and left the scene of the accident.
As a result, the decorative fence and the installation with glowing spheres were damaged. The broken decorative elements were taken by the employees of the municipal enterprise 'Tazalyk' to the company's base, and they were repaired this morning.
The person responsible for the collision, 21-year-old M.V., who was driving a Honda CRV, appeared at the Traffic Police Department of the Bishkek City Police. His car was impounded. The measure of responsibility for the offender will be determined after all procedures are completed.
"Dear citizens! We ask you to be more careful on the roads and to follow traffic rules to avoid unpleasant incidents," the municipal authorities appeal to the residents of Bishkek.
