The Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, visited the new branch of the school that was opened in the residential complex "Muras," built by the State Mortgage Company (GIK).

The launch of this branch is part of an initiative to reduce the burden on overcrowded educational institutions in the capital, carried out under the instruction of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, and in cooperation with the Bishkek City Hall, as reported by the municipal press service.

The temporary yet effective approach involves creating classrooms on the ground floors of residential buildings. This step will provide children with access to quality education without leaving their nearby neighborhoods and will reduce the burden on neighboring schools and kindergartens until new educational institutions are built.

The first in this project is the branch of school No. 40, located on Malikova Street. All necessary conditions for teaching students from grades 5 to 9 have been organized here. The premises provided by GIK can accommodate up to 1,000 children, and classes are held in two shifts.

In addition to the main subjects, the school offers clubs for chess, toguz korgool, handicrafts, drawing, and decorative and applied arts. This creates opportunities for children not only to gain knowledge but also to develop their talents and interests.

Aibek Junushaliev positively assessed this pilot project, noting that such a format could be successfully implemented in other areas of the city. He instructed to develop methodological recommendations for its further expansion.

"Our main goal is to create comfortable conditions for children to learn and develop comprehensively, regardless of their place of residence," emphasized the mayor.
