New Year Events in Bishkek

Dear citizens and guests of the capital! The New Year is rushing towards us..., which means there will be a lot of interesting and fun events in the city! We invite you to familiarize yourself with them:
The main New Year event will take place on December 31, 2017, at Ala-Too Central Square, where a festive theatrical concert and public festivities will be organized for the citizens.
From 12:00 to 15:00 (daytime block), and from 20:00 to 24:00 (evening block) featuring stars of the Kyrgyz pop scene. At midnight, a festive New Year fireworks display will take place at Ala-Too Square and in D. Asanov Park (Southern Gates).
On December 14, a charitable New Year event will be held at the municipal institution "Kolomto".
On December 27 at 10:00 AM, a Mayor's Christmas Tree event will be organized at the T. Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic, hosted by the Education Department of the Bishkek Mayor's Office. 1,100 children will be invited – orphans, half-orphans, children from low-income families, children from families affected by the events of April 7, 2010, children from Chernobyl families, veterans, and children with disabilities, as well as excellent students, contest winners, and activists. All invited children will receive New Year gifts.
The Social Development Department will hold a charitable Mayor's Christmas Tree event on December 21 at 11:00 AM at the T. Satylganov National Philharmonic, inviting 600 children with disabilities, orphans, half-orphans, and children from low-income families.
All four districts of the capital will also be included in the celebrations.
In the Municipal Administration of the Bishkek Mayor's Office for the Pervomaisky District:
From December 15 to 31, New Year events will be held with the preparation of New Year gifts, totaling 225,000 soms.
On December 29 at 11:00 AM, a New Year event organized by the Pervomaisky District Administration will take place at the Satylganov National Philharmonic, covering 1,000 children from low-income and large families, children of Chernobyl disaster participants, and children affected by the April events.
From December 23 to 29, New Year events will be held in educational institutions in the district.
On December 23, 25, and 26 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, New Year matinees will take place at Children's Creativity Centers.
From December 25 to 30 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, a New Year festive event will be held at the Nursing Home for the Elderly.
On December 27 at 12:00 PM, a New Year festive event will also be organized at the Rehabilitation Center for Children and Youth.
In the Sverdlovsk District Administration:
A New Year tree will be installed in front of the Sverdlovsk District Administration building, and festive decorations will be arranged. Additionally, a 10-meter tree will be set up and decorated in Victory Square.
In schools No. 38 and 93, in the Ak-Tilek residential area, at the intersection of Abdrahmanov and Toktogul streets, as well as near the district administration building.
New Year events will cover all 5 MTUs of the district. At each location by the trees, New Year round dances will be organized with the participation of Ded Moroz, Snegurochka, and fairy-tale characters. The round dances will take place according to a separate schedule from December 25 to 29, and all children will receive gifts and sweets.
On December 26 at 10:00 AM, a New Year performance for 600 children – orphans, half-orphans, children from low-income families, children from Chernobyl families, veterans, and children with disabilities will take place at the Abdymomunov Kyrgyz National Academic Drama Theater. In total, 2,700 children will receive New Year gifts.
In the October District Administration of Bishkek:
A Christmas market will operate at the intersection of Ankara and Dostoevsky streets starting December 15.
On December 20, a matinee for children from low-income families will take place at the railway workers' club, covering more than 200 children.
On December 27 at 2:00 PM, a New Year performance for 1,000 children – orphans, half-orphans, children from low-income families, children from Chernobyl families, veterans, and children with disabilities will take place at the T. Satylganov National Philharmonic, with New Year gifts being distributed.
On December 29 and 30, a pre-New Year festive fair will be organized in the adjacent territory of the "Oberon" market on Suerkulov Street, selling souvenirs, Christmas decorations, and fireworks.
New Year matinees will be held in educational organizations, preschool institutions in the district, in residential areas, micro-districts, quarters, and parks.
In Victory Park named after D. Asanov, an 11-meter New Year tree will be installed, and a fair for selling festive New Year souvenirs will be organized.
The Municipal Administration of the city of Bishkek for the Lenin Administrative District is also not left out of the preparations for the New Year:
Thus, the municipal administration will organize a charitable New Year tree event with the participation of 700 children. In total, 2,870 children will receive New Year gifts.
On December 20, a matinee for children from low-income families will take place at the railway workers' club, covering more than 200 children; 61 b, L. Tolstoy Street, MTU No. 2.
From December 25 to 29, yard Christmas trees and New Year performances will be held in the Jal micro-district, covering 350 children. A celebration will take place at 148 L. Tolstoy Street, covering 150 children. A New Year matinee for children from low-income families will be held at School No. 58 in the Chon-Aryk MTU, covering more than 200 children. Near the "Frunze" shopping center, a New Year performance will be organized for 100 children.
For public and fire safety, work will be carried out by the internal affairs and fire service authorities of the capital according to a separate plan and schedule.
