On November 25, 2014, at 18:30, a concert by pianist Mikhailov Evgeny Vladimirovich – Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honored Artist of the Udmurt Republic, and Professor at the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov – will take place at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov.

Evgeny Mikhailov is a remarkably gifted pianist and a laureate of prestigious international competitions, having given over four hundred successful concerts in various corners of the world – from South America and the USA to China, while paying special attention to the Russian audience. He is a member of the jury for Russian and international competitions, conducts seminars, master classes, and open lessons in cities across Russia, as well as in the USA, South Korea, Sweden, and Switzerland.
The artist's repertoire includes works by Bach, Scarlatti, French harpsichordists, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Liszt, Franck, Grieg, Debussy, Ravel, Poulenc, Messiaen, Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky, Taneyev, Medtner, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, contemporary composers, and more than 30 concertos for piano and orchestra (from Bach to Schnittke).

Music lovers are well acquainted with his programs "The History of Piano Transcription," "The History of French Keyboard Music," "Suite: From Baroque to Impressionism," and "Fairy Tale in Russian Music." With an extraordinarily wide range of performed music, the pianist's sympathies are predominantly given to the works of romantics and Russian composers.

Evgeny Mikhailov performs both solo and with renowned symphonic ensembles, including the Russian National Orchestra, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia, symphonic orchestras from many cities and republics of the Russian Federation, the German Symphony Orchestra of Berlin, the National Orchestra of Belgium, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Buenos Aires, the National Symphony Orchestra of Montevideo, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Mexico City, and others. He has collaborated with conductors such as V. Ashkenazy, M. Pletnev, M. Gorenstein, V. Ziva, V. Ponykin, N. Alexeev, R. Martynov, S. Skripka, and other renowned conductors.
Evgeny Mikhailov is a recognized master of performing works by Medtner, Scriabin, and Rachmaninoff. His concerts in the Great and Small Halls of the Moscow Conservatory, the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, and the Great Hall of the Philharmonic in St. Petersburg (including the unique cycle "All Scriabin Sonatas") have long become traditional.

The concert of the recognized master Evgeny Mikhailov is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the declared 2014 Year of Culture in Russia and the Year of Strengthening Statehood in Kyrgyzstan.
