The Kamchatka Region Awaits Resettlers from Bishkek
On May 13, a presentation of the long-term regional target program to assist the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad to the Kamchatka Territory took place at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bishkek, reported the press service of the RCSK to "Russian Vek."
The presentation was attended by the head and staff of the Agency for Employment and Migration Policy of the Kamchatka Territory. They answered questions from citizens of Kyrgyzstan regarding the possibility of participating in the program, employment in the Kamchatka Territory, salary levels, possible benefits for resettlers, and the placement of children in preschool and school educational institutions, among others.
For the Kamchatka Territory, the implementation of the State Program for the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad is relevant. Since 2010, 1,228 people have participated in it, with over 700 acquiring the status of program participants, having received permission for temporary residence or a residence permit.
As reported by the "Russian Vek" portal, since 2013, all municipal districts of the Kamchatka Territory (except for the closed city of Vilyuchinsk) have been classified as territories for the resettlement of compatriots. Kamchatka is among ten subjects of Russia designated as priority settlement areas, where program participants are provided with state guarantees and social support funded by the federal budget.
