According to information received from the center, 20 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic were employed through the Employment Permit System (EPS).
Before departure, the new workers underwent five days of training, during which they studied the Korean language, principles of work ethics, and adaptation to cultural peculiarities. This program is designed to ensure the successful integration of migrants in their workplaces.
As of today, more than 1,500 Kyrgyzstani citizens are working in South Korea under this program, primarily in the manufacturing industry, including food, chemical, paper, and plastic sectors. The average earnings are approximately $1,500, with housing and meals often covered by employers.
It is worth noting that the Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad has been collaborating with the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Korea for 18 years. During this time, more than 5,000 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic have found jobs through the EPS program.
