Previously, information appeared on social media that cameras were present in both the outdoor and indoor restrooms, and some stalls had no doors at all. Parents expressed concern that their children were experiencing discomfort when using the restroom.
In response, the department reported that explanatory discussions had been held with the school administration, and the cameras were promptly dismantled.
“The cameras installed in the restrooms were not active, and no recording was being made,” the Department of Education clarified.
