On October 14, 2025, at 11:32, an incident occurred involving train No. 3802 on the Alamidin-Kant stretch (3792 km, unprotected crossing). The train driver was forced to apply emergency braking as a car entered the railway tracks. Unfortunately, a collision could not be avoided, as reported by "Kyrgyz Temir Zholu".
Local enterprise staff, medical assistance, and law enforcement arrived promptly at the scene. As a result of the accident, there are injured individuals who were taken to the city of Kant.
At the time of the incident, the signaling system was functioning normally, and visibility was sufficient. The collision occurred due to a violation of traffic rules by the car driver. The railway is not at fault in this incident.
Kyrgyz Temir Zholu reminds that when a train approaches within 800-1200 meters, the warning signal automatically activates. However, cases of drivers ignoring these signals continue to be recorded. This poses a serious threat to human life and can lead to tragic consequences for both drivers and passengers, as well as railway transport staff.
Dear drivers! According to Article 15 of the Traffic Rules, crossing railway tracks is only permitted at crossings, and it is necessary to yield to trains, locomotives, and railcars. When approaching a crossing, drivers must follow the instructions of road signs, traffic lights, markings, and signals from the duty officer, as well as check for an approaching train.
It is prohibited to enter a crossing in the following cases:
— if the barrier is closed or is beginning to close (regardless of the traffic light signal);
— when there is a prohibitory signal from the traffic light (regardless of the barrier's state);
— when there is a prohibitory signal from the duty officer;
— if there is a traffic jam beyond the crossing that forces you to stop on the crossing;
— if a train (locomotive, railcar) or others are approaching within sight.
The state enterprise "NC Kyrgyz Temir Zholu" strongly urges all road users to be attentive and responsible when crossing railway tracks, as violations of traffic rules can lead to serious consequences.
