According to the company's information, the transport service "KGK," which employs hundreds of experienced drivers, ensures the safety and uninterrupted functioning of all enterprise divisions around the clock, primarily at the Kumtor deposit.

Every day, the company's drivers cover hundreds of kilometers on challenging mountain routes, delivering fuel, equipment, food, and employees for shifts to the mine.
Throughout the year, "KGK" drivers travel about 3 million kilometers. For example, the bus drivers transport hundreds of workers and guests daily from the "Wave" point near the village of Barskoon to the mine and back. Their task is to ensure the safe and timely arrival of specialists for their shifts and to return those who have completed their shifts home safely.
"Every trip is a great responsibility for the people who trust us. We set out before dawn. Our main goal is to deliver our colleagues safely. Anything can happen on the road: bad weather, avalanches, traffic jams due to herded livestock. But my colleagues and I always maintain calm and confidence in our abilities, as our fleet is always in good condition, and our experience allows us to respond quickly to any unforeseen situations," shares his experience driver of "Kumtor" Almazbek Kurmanbaev, who has 29 years of experience.

Akyilbek Maatkaziev, a truck driver from the Balikchy transshipment base, emphasizes the importance of following safety protocols and being attentive while working.
"Our roads are challenging — mountains, passes, sharp changes in altitude and temperature. But we are used to it. We transport everything — from fuel to oversized equipment, covering tens of thousands of kilometers a month. When you see how everything at the mine operates thanks to the timely delivery of cargo you were involved in, you feel proud," he says.
"I've been behind the wheel for many years. I love my job. I'm glad to have the opportunity to work in such a friendly team as "Kumtor Gold Company." It's always nice to remember that your work helps in delivering necessary cargo, mail, or in escorting a delayed colleague," adds another company driver Vyacheslav Zemlyanukhin, who works in the office in Bishkek.
Before each trip, all "Kumtor" drivers undergo safety training and a medical examination. Vehicle inspections are also conducted before departure. The professionalism and responsibility of the drivers, as well as the work of technicians, medics, and dispatchers, are critically important not only for the stability of production but also for preserving human lives.
