The agency's message states that "the debris was found in a remote area, away from populated places. No casualties or damage have been reported."
Currently, the Ministry, along with other authorized bodies, is investigating the causes of the incident and the origin of the drone.
“We are consulting with foreign partners to whom these devices may belong,” the Ministry of Defense added.
It is also noted that the ministry is strengthening control over the country’s airspace to prevent "unauthorized crossings of the state border by aerial objects."
According to the publication "Ural Week," the incident occurred in the morning of October 23. Eyewitnesses claim that the shockwave from the explosion was so powerful that it nearly tore the roofs off nearby houses. A deep crater formed at the site of the incident, which may indicate the presence of a combat component. Additionally, on the same day, an air danger alert was declared in the neighboring Orenburg region of Russia due to the threat of drone attacks.
