In the Kara-Suu district, one local resident was fined 12,500 soms for violating hunting regulations.

This information was provided by the department responsible for the protection of natural areas and biodiversity in the Osh regional office of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service.

It became known that on October 18, 2025, employees of this department, together with representatives of the "Bars-2" group from the NABU organization, detained a man who violated hunting rules in the Kyzyl-Suu area of the Kara-Suu district.

"The violator was imposed an administrative fine of 12,500 soms in accordance with Article 263 of the Code of Offenses concerning hunting," the agency representatives reported.

Additionally, as part of preventive measures, discussions were held with other hunters about the importance of protecting and conserving wildlife," the statement added.
