Joint Kyrgyz-Chinese Enterprise SKK LLC "Kitlap"
The joint Kyrgyz-Chinese enterprise was established in 1991. The Chinese side - the Li-Fa Bakery of the Chaoyang District of Beijing - supplied the equipment and technology, while the Kyrgyz side - the Kara-Balta Bread Products Plant (now the State Enterprise "BuuDay - Kara-Balta") - provided the buildings on the territory of the State Enterprise "BuuDay - Kara-Balta", labor force, and working capital. The enterprise was assembled and adjusted in a short time - in four and a half months. On September 4, 1992, the first products were received.
The management structure of the enterprise is unique. The highest governing body is the Board, which is represented by both sides - Kyrgyz and Chinese. The President of the Board is from the Kyrgyz side, and the director of the enterprise is from the Chinese side. The Board works in close contact. From the first day until now, more than 50 thousand tons of products have been produced.
In addition to the three technological lines installed in the early years, packaging machines capable of orienting the assortment at the request of the customer were gradually put into operation.
Over the years of cooperation, several subsidiaries and branded stores have opened across the Republic.
LLC "Kitlap" has been headed by three Chinese directors: Mr. Liang, Mr. Gao Yonghe, and currently Mr. Zhang Yungo.
Thanks to the opening of the "Kitlap" enterprise, 300 people have found employment and have permanent jobs in the city.
