JSC "Kara-Balta Bread Factory"
The production of bread in the settlement of Kara-Balta began with the establishment of the sugar factory. The first workshop with a capacity of 2.5 tons per day opened in the same year as the sugar factory. The volumes of the leading production in the city increased, and the bakery expanded.
The bread production was strengthened under the leadership of Boris Khusanovich Khusanov, and in subsequent years, Lyudmila Vasilyevna Oleinikova.
Two production lines for the production of first and second grade bread were installed in 1968, and an oven for the production of bagel products was added a few years later.
In the year of the city's founding, a bulk storage facility of the "open type" was being built at the bread factory.
And in the year of the 25th anniversary celebration of Kara-Balta, the president of JSC "Kara-Balta Bread Factory," Kerimaliev Erkebe Kerimalievich, who had worked at the factory for 30 years, was awarded the title of "Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic."
LLC "Kara-Balta-Sit"
Three districts: Kalininsky, Panfilovsky, and Moscow were served by the Kalininsky Dairy Plant from its establishment in 1938 until the formation of the city of Kara-Balta. Milk from these three districts was processed here, and the plant supplied its products to them until local dairy plants opened.
After privatization, the plant sharply reduced its working pace. Several attempts were made by private entrepreneurs to restore it, including the famous company "Eridan." However, no one succeeded, and the enterprise did not bring the desired profit.
On August 3, 2000, the dairy plant was headed by Ernst Nurdinovich Serkebaev, and the enterprise was renamed LLC "Kara-Balta-Sut."
New products were introduced: low-fat dairy products at lower prices, Adyghe cheese, and sweet dairy products.
LLC "Dos-Alco"
The enterprise, which withstood fierce competition among local vodka producers, has strengthened, expanded, and since its establishment on August 8, 1996, has produced 138,000 decaliters of reliable quality products.
The new enterprise is a regular participant in republican and international exhibitions. At the end of 2000, at the international exhibition "Drinks-Russia-2000," vodka "Three Bears" was awarded a gold medal, and vodka "Officer's" received a silver medal.
In LLC "Dos-Alco," a confectionery workshop has been operating for the second year, and its products are also in demand.
In the future, the enterprise plans to produce wine.
