They are going through tough times. The volume of construction has noticeably decreased. Nevertheless, construction organizations continue to exist and find clients.

JSC "SU-4"
A large part of the city's facilities was built by the workers of this organization under the leadership of the first chief, Sergey Nikolaevich Ananyev, and later - Ivan Mikhailovich Borisov.

The industrial complex of the mining and processing plant, a residential town for 30 thousand residents, a hospital complex, schools, kindergartens, economic facilities, and social and cultural facilities of the collective farms "Victory," "Kum-Aryk," "New Path," and many others.

Since its inception in 1956, SU-4 has been a subdivision of the mining and processing plant. In 1997, it was transformed into a closed joint-stock company, maintaining construction production as its main area of activity. During its independence, JSC "SU-4" reconstructed the district House of Culture and the club of the village of Poltavka, built a gas station, and repaired the asphalt surfaces of the streets in the city of Kara-Balta.

Since 1999, JSC "SU-4" has been working closely with the "Samsung" Corporation on the reconstruction of the "Bishkek-Osh" highway facilities.

The management staff includes 150 highly qualified specialists with over 10 years of experience, with an average age of 36 years. To fully meet the clients' requirements, the employees of JSC "SU-4," led by Vladimir Grigorievich Sukhanosov for over 10 years, continuously study, develop, and implement new technologies in construction production.

JSC "Montazhnik"
Plumbing and electrical installation work is carried out by the enterprise under the leadership of Richard Ivanovich Schumacher since the very beginning of its activity in 1952, when it was called the construction and installation management A-47/7 and was the only subcontracting organization of the Kyrgyz mining and processing plant until 1993 for the construction of the molybdenum plant, housing sector, social and cultural facilities, and sanatoriums "Issyk-Kul" and "Kyrgyz seaside" in the experimental industrial facilities for mining and processing ores in the villages of Mirny, Stepnoye, Taukent in the Republic of Kazakhstan. These works were also supervised by Grigory Stepanovich Dudchenko.

In 1971, the enterprise was renamed to installation and construction management No. 36 of the "Mospromtekhmontazh" trust of the Ministry of Atomic Energy and Industry.

Without changing its profile of work and maintaining the full volume of its production base, in 1992 the enterprise was transformed into a joint-stock company "Montazhnik." The enterprise operates steadily, with an annual labor productivity growth of at least four percent compared to the previous year.

Since 1996, the enterprise has been headed by Yuri Fedoseevich Chernoivanov.

LLC "KVT"
Capital construction, finishing works, and auto services are the areas of activity chosen by the employees of the small enterprise KVT when they established their company in October 1990 on the basis of the Inter-farm SPMK-4 "Kirgizmontazhselstroy." The team is led by Khamkhoev Kazbek Umat-Gereevich.

In its 9 years of existence, the KVT enterprise has been restructured three times into a construction and installation firm (1992), a joint Kyrgyz-German enterprise (1993), and LLC (1997). In the early years of operation, the enterprise experienced an unprecedented rise in production levels, followed by an economic downturn in 1999, which is still felt today. Oleg Arkadyevich Telpukhovsky headed "KVT."

JSC "Construction Products Plant"
Three small enterprises: a woodworking plant, a concrete mixing unit, and a reinforced concrete products shop merged to form the Construction Products Plant on August 1, 1960, under the leadership of Anatoly Lukich Koren. Significant contributions to the development of the plant were made by subsequent leaders: Alexander Fedorovich Singurov, Vladimir Ivanovich Lobanov, and Viktor Alekseevich Mikhailov.

In recent years, JSC "CPI" still consists of several shops: reinforced concrete products, woodworking, metal products, and a construction site. JSC "CPI" is increasing its growth rate: in 2000, the growth rate of industrial production reached 299.8% compared to 1999.

JV "Eridan Decor LTD"
The enterprise of the "Eridan" group of companies, established in 1997, specializes in wood processing for construction works, producing various building materials from wood for interior and exterior decoration of buildings, custom furniture, using both imported and local raw materials in production.

In 1999, the products of JV "Eridan Decor LTD" were awarded the Gold Quality Medal at an international exhibition in the capital of the Republic.
