SHEYSHEEV Kanatbek Turganbaevich
Architect. Born in 1954 in the village of Toguz-Bulak, Ton district, Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz SSR.
In 1980, he graduated from the architectural faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute.
Since 1980, he has been working at the State Design Institute "Kyrgyzgiprostroy." Currently, he is the head of the architectural group of the urban planning workshop.
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1984.
K. Sheysheev works in the field of urban planning. His first works were completed at the "Kyrgyzgiprostroy" institute in the general plan workshop and were dedicated to the development of the Issyk-Kul Lake area. The general plan and detailed planning project for the "Kosh-Kol" resort, as well as the general plan for the town of Kadji-Sai, which he created in collaboration with a group of specialists from the workshop, reflect the best trends in this field. The goals pursued in these projects are aimed at solving an important national economic task — organizing recreation and resort treatment in the Kyrgyz SSR.
A significant work by K. Sheysheev is the detailed planning project for residential area 2 in the city of Kara-Kul. Here, the progressive trends that concern architects in Kyrgyzstan are expressed — how to develop territories in conditions of complex terrain, high seismicity, and harsh climate.
He combines intense creative work in the workshop with competition activities. Most of his projects have been awarded at republican competitions. Another area of his creative abilities is poster design. He has created posters on themes of war and peace. The poster "Fight for Peace, Security, and Cooperation" was published in 1981 in the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda."

1984. Republican competition. Wind-dust protection 4- and 9-story residential buildings for the city of Rybachye with proposals for organizing living space using carpet development (as part of a team, encouragement award).
