SULTANALIEV Ashirbek Altymshevich
Architect. Born in 1952 in the urban-type settlement of Maymak, Kirov District, Talas Region of the Kyrgyz SSR.
In 1975, he graduated from the architectural and construction faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute.
In 1975, he was assigned to the State Design Institute "Kyrgyzgiprostroy," where he currently works as the chief project architect.
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1980.
A. Sultanaliev has achieved significant success in creating projects for the development of individual blocks, micro-districts, and settlements. In the project for a micro-district for 10,000 residents in the city of Kara-Kul, an impressive integrity of architectural solution has been achieved. Here, there is clear functional zoning, convincing volumetric-spatial solutions, and convenient servicing of individual parts of the living environment. The quality of the architectural ensemble consists of large and small details, well thought out and elaborated, and executed with the same care in reality.
Alongside these works, he has completed projects for individual buildings in various regions of Kyrgyzstan — in Talas, on Issyk-Kul, and in the city of Frunze. All these objects are characterized by deep thoughtfulness of the plan, somewhat complex volumetric solutions, and restrained plastic solutions of the facade planes, which illustrate the creative style of this architect.

1985. Dormitory for 155 places in Sary-Djaz (as part of a team); Sanatorium "Volna" on Lake Issyk-Kul (as part of a team); 52-apartment residential building in the city of Frunze (as part of a team).
1980. Residential settlement for 5,000 residents in Sary-Djaz (as part of a team);
1981. Residential settlement for 11,000 residents in the city of Tash-Kumyr (as part of a team);
1982. Micro-district for 10,500 residents in the city of Kara-Kul (as part of a team);
1984. City communication hub building in the city of Talas (as part of a team); 138-apartment residential building in the city of Kara-Kul (as part of a team); Bath and laundry complex in the village of Chayek (as part of a team).
