GUSTYR Sergey Alekseevich
Architect. Born in 1950 in the village of Dekken, Uyghur district of Almaty region.
In 1973, he graduated from the architectural and construction faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute. He works as the chief project architect at the "FrunzeGorProject" institute.
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1978.
After graduating from the architectural and construction faculty, Sergey Gustyr joined the design organization "FrunzeGorProject". The most challenging issue, as in other cities of the country, is the problem of improving the quality of architecture in residential construction.
Particularly noteworthy in his list of works are the microdistricts "Vostok-5" and "Vostok-6". It can be noted with satisfaction that in these microdistricts, compared to the developments of previous years, there has been a significant shift towards improvement. The planning solutions feature proportionate human-scale volumetric spaces of yards and streets, with convenient connections to service institutions and other buildings in the microdistrict.
An interesting project is "Comprehensive Design and Lighting of the City of Frunze". Besides its direct functional purpose of conveying specific information, it aims to create a unique coziness for the street, making it more modern. This was the envisioned solution to the task by the creators of this project, S. Gustyr and his colleagues, architects E. Stitsenko and U. Djaparov.
