Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1974.
After graduating from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute, Herman Stepanovich joined the "FrunzeGorProject" institute. The year 1972 was a formative year for this organization. It was characterized by a creative spirit, cohesion, and confidence in the future. From the very first days of his creative biography, he immersed himself completely in this work. The themes of his creative pursuits became the living environment, public buildings, and monuments. He is the author of such well-known structures as the Monument in honor of the 100th anniversary of the voluntary entry of Kyrgyzstan into Russia in the central square of the capital, the residential districts "Yug-2" and "Vostok-2" in the center of the capital, and others. Year after year, the list of projects expanded, and his mastery grew. He became the chief architect of the workshop. At all stages of design—from the inception of ideas to their realization in practice—Herman Stepanovich's work was distinguished by high professional skill, diverse erudition, and a deep sense of responsibility.
H. Mulyavin successfully participated in a number of complex competitions, where his works were awarded prizes. While still a student, he developed the artistic and design project for the children's toy "planetwalker," and later, in 1974, he created a similar artistic and design project for a CNC lathe (model 16B25P), for which he was awarded the State Prize of the Kyrgyz SSR in the field of science and technology. His mastery of form is also evident in the field of medal design, as evidenced by the 1st prize in the competition for the coat of arms and emblem of the city of Frunze.
A person with a pronounced individuality and great creative energy, he was always at the forefront of our architecture, at the center of its professional interests.
