BOROVIKOV Viktor Vladimirovich
Architect. Born in 1950 in the city of Irkutsk.
Has lived in Frunze since 1962.
Graduated from the architectural and construction faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute in 1973. Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1985. Worked as the chief architect of projects at the "FrunzeGorProject" institute.
In April 1985, he was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR.
Viktor Borovikov's professional interests are diverse. His creative tasks encompass objects of various purposes. These include projects for entire microdistricts, quarters, residential buildings, and street improvements. He successfully designs and constructs individual public buildings, participates in the creation of a memorial to Academician K. I. Skryabin, etc.
The most significant construction in recent times is the complex of public catering enterprises, the "Naryn" restaurant. The compositional structure of the building, determined by the urban planning situation, is calm and balanced. Its volume is strictly symmetrical. The building is characterized by plastic expressiveness and harmonious completeness, clarity of appearance, and compositional structure.
MAIN CONSTRUCTIONS
1979. Reconstruction of the facades of the N. G. Chernyshevsky Library in the city of Frunze (as part of a team);
1982. Development of the quarter bounded by the Young Guard Avenue, M. Ryskulov Street, Frunze, and Ala-Archa Street in the city of Frunze (as part of a team);
1983. Monument to Academician K. I. Skryabin (sculptor V. A. Shestopal) in the city of Frunze;
1984. 9-story residential buildings on Moscow Street and Young Guard Avenue with the "Sary-Chelek" store in the city of Frunze (as part of a team); 16-story residential building for small families in the city of Frunze; Complex of public catering enterprises "Naryn" (team leader);
1985. Surgical building of the Institute of Cardiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR in the city of Frunze (as part of a team); 100-apartment residential building on Krivonosov Street with a consumer goods store in the city of Frunze (as part of a team).
