GOREMYKIN Anatoly Trofimovich
Architect.
Born in 1953 in the village of Grodekovo, Primorsky Krai, RSFSR.
In 1975, he graduated from the architectural faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute with a degree in architecture.
Since 1975, he has been working at the "FrunzeGorProject" institute. Head of the architectural group of the master plan workshop.
In 1985, he was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR for the design and construction of the "Ala-Too" square.
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1980.
A. Goremykin actively participated in the creation of the detailed planning project for the center of Frunze and the construction of the central square of the capital named after V. I. Lenin. The projects tasked the authors with achieving a distinctive, original appearance for the center of the capital under the conditions of industrial construction, obtaining tangible signs of individuality in the composition of the area, which covers 1200 hectares; as well as achieving uniqueness in the fragments of development—individual blocks, squares, creating relatively large and well-equipped urban spaces, memorable complexes.
In accordance with the projects, the floors of Soviet Street are rising, the appearance of Lenin Avenue is transforming, the face of Mira Avenue is changing, and other nodes in the center are being reconstructed and improved, each time giving birth to a unique urban environment marked by the stamp of place, time, and talent. A significant share of the work in these matters belongs to A. T. Goremykin.
