IBRAEV Kubanychbek Kasymzhanovich

Architect. Born in 1953 in the city of Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Graduated in 1975 from the architectural faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute.
From 1975 to 1976, he worked at the "FrunzeGorProject" institute.
Since 1976, he has been at the State Design Institute "KyrgyzGiproStroy," where he currently serves as the chief project architect.
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1981.
The theme of K. Ibraev's creative pursuits includes boarding houses, recreation centers, and sanatoriums on Lake Issyk-Kul, which he creates in the workshop for resort and sanatorium buildings. The recreation center "Cholpon-Ata," the boarding house "Dilorum," and others are large volumetric-spatial formations based on modern principles. Within the allocated territories, clear functional zoning has been implemented, and the construction is proposed to be carried out with block buildings, which will allow for a larger scale of the complexes and achieve maximum integrity and expressiveness in architectural solutions.
K. Ibraev has achieved significant success in creating a number of public buildings. An architect of great creative temperament, he actively participates in the development of the capital of Kyrgyzstan. In collaboration with various groups of architects from 1980 to 1985, he worked on the creation of the "Issyk-Kul" hotel building at the VDNH of the Kyrgyz SSR, the branch of the Central Museum of V. I. Lenin in Frunze, and the "Ai-Pery" salon on Lenin Avenue in the capital. Possessing good skills in graphics and composition, along with developed volumetric-spatial thinking, he has a significant influence on the final results of the work. All constructions involving his participation have a strong attractive force. The forms of these buildings are voluminous, and the compositional idea is clearly traced in their structure.
Participant in three republican competitions. Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.
