ABDRAKOV Kubanychbek Kasmakunovich

Architect. Born in 1951 in the village of Bosteri, Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz SSR. In 1975, he graduated from the architectural and construction faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute. After graduation, he began his career as an architect in the production and economic group of the Issyk-Kul District Executive Committee, then worked as the head of the production economic group of the Cholpon-Ata City Executive Committee. Later, he was the architect of the artistic and production workshops in Cholpon-Ata, and the chief architect of the resort area of the Department of Construction and Architecture of the Issyk-Kul Regional Executive Committee. Since 1985, he has been working as the chief architect of the Tyup District of the Issyk-Kul Region.

Awarded with Honorary Certificates from the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Kyrgyzstan.

Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1979.

While working in Cholpon-Ata, one of the most important resort centers of Issyk-Kul, he pays great attention to improving the structure of this city and its external appearance, participates in the development of the city's master plan, and works on the detailed planning project for the city center. Abdraikov spends a lot of time on the improvement of this small but cozy town; he has completed projects for the square near the district party committee building and a small park, which significantly improved the urban environment adjacent to the cinema. K. Abdraikov is a participant in five competitions, and all the projects he submitted for the competitions have been awarded prizes.
