Maya Alexandrovna Lovushkina

Architect. Born in 1932 in the city of Dnipropetrovsk, Ukrainian SSR.
In 1951, she graduated from the Faculty of Urban Construction of the Kyiv Engineering and Construction Institute.
In 1961, she worked as the chief project architect at the design institute "Tajikgiprostroy," and in 1969, she was transferred to the institute "Kyrgyzgiproselkhoz" (now TsNIIPEPvtsiprom) as the chief project architect in the planning department, where she worked until 1982.
Since 1982, she has been working at GlavAPU as the head of the planning department.
A member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1957.
In the 1950s, M. A. Lovushkina participated in the development of residential areas in the city of Frunze in the vicinity of Turovsbekov Street, 40th Anniversary of October Street, Moscow Street, Lenin Avenue, residential development on Mira Avenue, in the area of the Polytechnic Institute, and others. In the 1960s, she participated in the development of resorts in Kyrgyzstan in Issyk-Ata, Jety-Oguz, and in the construction of a recreation area near the GES-5 hydroelectric power station in the city of Frunze. She created a scheme for the distribution of resort zones on Issyk-Kul, regional planning for the northern and southern shores of the lake, a scheme for the resort area of Cholpon-Ata, and developed general plans for the boarding house of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, the pioneer camp "Solnyshko," and others. In the 1970s, M. A. Lovushkina worked on the development of planning and construction projects for villages in Kyrgyzstan, including the settlement of Orto-Alysh; similar projects were carried out for Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. She developed the planning and construction project for the settlement of Shurskol of the "Kyrgyzstan" state farm in the Yaroslavl region. In 1970, she participated in the competition for the experimental settlement of Alamedin, where her team was awarded the III prize.
