SOLTOBAEV Asylbek Moldoshevich
Architect. Member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1984.
Born in 1946 in the village of John-Aryk, Kyrk-Kazyk rural council, Talas district, Talas region of the Kyrgyz SSR.
In 1971, he graduated from the architectural and construction faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute. After completing his studies, he worked at the State Project Institute "Kyrgyzgiprostroy".
With the establishment of the "Frunzegorproekt" institute in 1972, he moved to the newly created organization, where he worked as an architect, senior architect, and head of the architectural group.
In 1977, he moved to the city of Talas, where he initially served as the chief architect of the city, and later, in 1980, as the chief architect of the Talas region.
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1974.
His work in the design field of Kyrgyzstan began with a creative success. Together with architects R. Mukhamadiev, Yu. Tagirov, and V. Kuznetsov, he received an order to design two 125-apartment residential buildings on Soviet Street in the city of Frunze, which later became the "Southern Gates" of the city and a true decoration of it. The expressive plasticity of the facades, the rich design of the public parts of the buildings, the inclusion of monumental art pieces, and the clarity of compositional construction are the qualities that give uniqueness to the created ensemble.
Later, together with architects R. Mukhamadiev, S. Sydykbekov, and Yu. Tagirov, he worked on creating a project for the improvement of the area adjacent to the central department store in the city of Frunze. Over time, this area became a favorite place for city residents to relax, surprising with the harmony of forms, picturesque lines, and the inventiveness of the authors.
The creative biography of this architect is diverse and extensive. His interests are not limited to architecture alone. He is passionate about painting, creates sculptures, composes music, and writes poetry.
While working as the chief architect of the city of Talas, he actively participated in the design of the master plan for the district center of Chatkal, the village of Pokrovka, the cities of Talas and Kara-Kul, and worked with the urban planning workshop of the State Project Institute "Kyrgyzgiprostroy" on the detailed planning project for the center of the city of Talas.
