TSOY Robert Konstantinovich
Architect. Born in 1949 in the collective farm "Politotdel" of the Upper Chirchik district of Tashkent region.
In 1973, he graduated from the architectural and construction faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute. After completing his studies, he was assigned to the city of Osh in the department of the State Design Institute "Kyrgyzgiprostroy," where he worked as a group leader until 1977.
In 1977, he moved to the Osh department of Kyrgyzkommunproekt as the chief project architect.
From 1979 to 1980, he worked as an assistant to the chairman of the Osh City Executive Committee, and from 1980 to 1985, he served as the deputy chief architect of the city of Osh.
Since 1986, he has been the deputy head of the department for construction and architecture of the Osh Oblast Executive Committee.
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1978.
Today, in the city of Osh and in the settlements of the region, there are buildings designed by R. Tsoy. Alongside building design, a significant part of his work focuses on monumental structures. The most famous monuments built with his participation include the monument to V. I. Lenin, the monument to those who fell in the struggle for the establishment of Soviet power, and the monument to the soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War. The monument to V. I. Lenin, sculpted by N. V. Tomsky, is a work of grandeur and solemnity.
