Abdrazak Mokenovich Mokenov
MOKENOV Abdrazak Mokenovich
Architect, Member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1965.
Born in 1936 in the village of Tyup, Issyk-Kul region of the Kirghiz SSR.
In 1962, he graduated from the Faculty of Urban Planning of the Moscow Architectural Institute. He began his creative activity at the GPI "Kyrgyzgiprostroy," where he worked in various positions from 1962 to 1967.
From 1967, he served as head of the construction and architecture department of the Osh Regional Executive Committee,
from 1976 — first deputy chairman of the State Construction Committee of the Kirghiz SSR,
from 1980 to 1985 — chairman of the Frunze City Council of People's Deputies,
and from 1985 to the present, he has been working as a responsible employee in the apparatus of the Council of Ministers of the Kirghiz SSR.
At the XVII Congress of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, he was elected a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR of the 10th convocation, and a deputy of the Osh Regional Council of People's Deputies of the 13th to 15th convocations.
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1963.
Awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples (1984), the Jubilee Medal "For Valorous Labor. In Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of V. I. Lenin" (1970), the Honorary Diploma of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR (1974), and the Jubilee Medal "In Memory of the 1500th Anniversary of Kiev" (1982).
For a long time, he held responsible positions in the leading architectural bodies implementing urban planning policy in the territory of the Kirghiz SSR. As chairman of the executive committee,
A. Mokenov actively participated for 4 years in the implementation of extensive construction programs for the reconstruction of the center of the republic's capital, related to preparations for the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the republic and the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan.
