
KUZNETSOV Valery Yakovlevich
Engineer-designer. Member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1966.
Born in 1939 in the city of Alma-Ata, Kazakh SSR.
In 1957, he graduated from the architectural department of the Alma-Ata Construction Technical School, and in 1966 from the faculty of industrial and civil engineering at the Frunze Polytechnic Institute.
He began his professional career in 1957.
From 1958 to 1959, he served in the ranks of the Soviet Army. He worked in the institutes GPI "Kyrgyzgiprostroy", "Frunzegeoproject", and the Frunze branch of "Tsentrosouzyproject" in positions ranging from junior architect to chief project architect, head of the urban planning department of the State Construction Committee of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1963.
MAIN CONSTRUCTIONS
1959. Administrative building and food block of the infectious disease hospital in the city of Frunze;
1967. Residential settlement of the sugar factory in Belovodsk; Microdistrict 1 of the residential settlement of the sheet glass factory in the city of Tokmak;
1973. 80-apartment building with integrated premises on Soviet and Moscow streets in the city of Frunze; Technical propaganda and gas equipment sales point in the city of Frunze; Two 175-apartment residential buildings with integrated shops on Soviet street in the city of Frunze (author of the layout).
MAIN PROJECTS
1960. Museum of I. M. Przhevalsky in the settlement of Pristan-Przhevalsk (as part of a team);
1961. Project for the detailed planning of the rest house "XX years of Kyrgyzstan" in the village of Vorontsovka (as part of a team);
1962. Project for the detailed planning of a residential area in Haidarkan.
