ALYKULOV Kanybek Mamytovich
Architect. Member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1973. Born in 1944 in the village of Kairma, Jumgal District, Kyrgyz SSR.
In 1964, he graduated from the Frunze Automobile Road Technical School. Worked as a road master and construction technician. After graduating from the architectural and construction faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute in 1970 (the first graduating class), he worked at the State Design Institute "Kyrgyzgiprostroy" in various positions.
Since 1973, he has worked in the apparatus of the State Construction Committee of the Kyrgyz SSR — as the chief architect of the Issyk-Kul resort area, head of the planning and construction department of populated areas of the Kyrgyz SSR, head of the integrated department of "TashZNIIP" of the State Civil Construction Committee of the USSR, and since 1980 — deputy chairman of the State Construction Committee of the Kyrgyz SSR.
In 1981, he graduated from short-term courses at the Academy of National Economy of the USSR, and from 1980 to 1984, he studied in the correspondence postgraduate program at the "TashZNIIP" institute. Member of the board of the Union of Architects of the USSR. Deputy of the Frunze City Council of People's Deputies. Awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR (1984), Honorary Certificate of the Central Committee of the Komsomol, Jubilee Commemorative Medal of the Kyrgyz SSR, and a diploma from the Union of Architects of the USSR for the "Best Project of the Year" (1986).
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1973.
He successfully combines organizational and creative work: under his leadership and direct creative participation, interesting buildings and structures in architectural and artistic terms have been designed, and general plans and detailed planning projects for some cities and villages of the republic have been developed. In 1985, together with architects S. Sydykbekov and V. Fokht, he executed projects for the exhibition section "Kyrgyz SSR" at the International Exhibition in Izmir (Turkey) and the Jubilee Exhibition dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the formation of the USSR in Moscow at VDNH USSR, for which he was awarded a diploma from VDNH USSR.
K. Alykulov is one of the main authors of the section "Architecture and Construction" of the Kyrgyz Soviet Encyclopedia, and for several years concurrently engaged in teaching activities at the Frunze Polytechnic Institute — he supervised diploma projects in the specialties "Architecture" and "Industrial and Civil Construction." He is one of the authors of the Toktogul settlement project, which was awarded the State Prize of the Kyrgyz SSR named after Toktogul. In 1981, he participated in the International Congress of the Union of Architects in Warsaw.
K. Alykulov made a significant contribution to the regulation of construction in the Issyk-Kul resort area and in the provision of cities and villages with general plans and construction projects, improving project and estimate work in the republic.

Sadykov).
