SHERMATOV Jamaldin
Architect. Born in 1951 in the village of Changyr-Tash, Suzak District, Osh Region of the Kyrgyz SSR.
In 1975, he graduated from the architectural and construction faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute. After completing his studies, he worked as the chief architect of the city of Jalal-Abad. A deputy of the city Council of People's Deputies of the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th convocations. Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Central Committee of the Komsomol (1978).
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1981.
From 1973 to 1975, he participated in the development of the master plan for the city of Jalal-Abad, one of the oldest cities in southern Kyrgyzstan.
Despite his busy schedule, Jamaldin Shermatov works extensively as a purely creative individual. He designs projects for the improvement of roads, squares, parks, and many other elements of the city both within the city and its approaches. Special attention is given to projects for the design, reconstruction, and construction of public catering enterprises.

1981. Building of the "Salkyn" cafe in the city of Jalal-Abad;
1984. Building of the national drinks pavilion on the road to the "Jalal-Abad" resort; Building of the "Yurta" shop on the territory of the "Jalal-Abad" resort; Reconstruction and improvement of the teahouse in Toktogul Park in the city of Jalal-Abad;
1985. Project for the reconstruction of the "Taldy-Bulak" spring in the Taldy-Bulak state farm in the Bazar-Kurgan District.
