RYSPYKOV Sergey Sagynovich

Architect. Born in 1954 in the city of Frunze.
In 1980, he graduated from the architectural faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute. He works at the "FrunzeGorProject" institute as the head of the architectural group.
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1984.
During his six years of creative life, S. Rypykov participated in 14 competitions, including 8 on conceptual themes. The majority of the recent projects were commissioned by architectural magazines from various countries and a joint commission from the International Union of Architects (MCA) and UNESCO. He is simultaneously working on the development of the city of Frunze.
At the Prague Quadrennial in 1983, he was awarded a diploma of the II degree.
In 1984, he was awarded a bronze medal from UNESCO in Paris — "For the Protection of Cultural Heritage."
In 1985 — "Peace Medal" from the national commission of UNESCO (Japan).

MAIN PROJECTS

Laundry for 3 tons of dry linen per shift in the eastern industrial zone of the city of Frunze;
1982. Residential building in the city of Frunze on the streets of Moskovskaya, Panfilova, and Orozbekova (as part of a team); Vocational technical school of the "Kyrgyzavtomash" plant (as part of a team);
1983. Landscaping in front of the V.I. Lenin Sports Palace in the city of Frunze (as part of a team); Workshop for the production of Kyrgyz folk musical instruments in the city of Frunze;
1985. Pavilion of the Kyrgyz SSR at the XII World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow. Variant (as part of a team); Monolithic residential building on Vasilyeva Street in the city of Frunze (as part of a team); Tourist hotel for 350 guests in the city of Frunze (as part of a team).

1983. All-Union competition. Rural club for 300 seats (as part of a team, encouragement award); World competition. "HUMA-2000." Bulgaria (as part of a team); International competition. "Touring Theater" (as part of a team, diploma of the II degree); International competition. "Housing in Historicism and Locality." Tokyo (as part of a team);
1984. Republican competition. Wind-protective residential house (as part of a team, encouragement award); World competition. "Housing of Tomorrow." Paris (as part of a team, I prize from UNESCO).
