JSC "Jaiyl Brewery"
The first batch of beer was received during the hot days of June 1965, a month before the plant was accepted by the State Commission, after four years of construction.
Two years later, a new launch occurred - the opening of the malt house, whose products were supplied for a long time to the Talas, Uzgen, and Kochkor breweries.
In the history of the Jaiyl Brewery, each year was marked by the expansion of production capacities and the introduction of new technologies.
In the year of the city's founding, Karabalta, for example, an additional water well was drilled, as the existing well was insufficient, and production required additional water volume.
The year 1996 became special for the factory workers when the newly appointed director, Alymkulov Baatyraly Ashiraliyevich, proposed to organize a joint-stock company in response to the declining production rates.
The factory workers cautiously agreed.
And it was not in vain; the positive results were visible the very next year.
Today, the brewery is one of the enterprises in the city that is constantly increasing its production growth rates. The 2000 plan was fulfilled by 160%.
The workers of this enterprise enjoy stable, high salaries. Additionally, they are regularly provided with material assistance in the form of cash and food products at low prices.
JSC "Jaiyl Brewery" actively participates in charitable activities, provides sponsorship assistance to those in need, and monthly material support to pensioners.
Over the 35 years of the plant's operation, the leadership changed seven times: Sterlikov Mikhail Antonovich, Dmitrienko Ivan Ivanovich, Danilin Viktor Nikitovich, Koshkin Yakov Arkadyevich, Voytenko Maria Pavlovna, Taran Nikolai Vasilyevich, Nechaeva Raisa Sergeevna.
JSC "Dessert"
In 1932, the artel "Red October" was established with three workshops: sewing, hat-making, and shoemaking. At the beginning of 1957, the artel merged with the artel named after Voroshilov, retaining its previous name. New workshops were added: confectionery, sausage, wine, woodworking, and by the end of 1957, a canning workshop was created. Later, canning became the dominant production, and in 1960, the Kalinin Canning Plant was established based on the artel, with an output of 840 thousand conditional cans of canned fruits and vegetables per year. Subsequently, productivity reached 12 million conditional cans per year.
In 1977, a horticultural association joined the canning plant. The orchards were planted with promising varieties of apple trees. Over time, the area of the orchards reached 1200 hectares.
JSC "Dessert" was led by such managers as Radchenko M. S. (1960s), Malkov V. I. (1970s), Nogoey A. I. (1980s). Veterans and production leaders worked at JSC "Dessert," such as Kristina N. V. and welder Rozhkova E. P., who were awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and are Honorary Citizens of the city of Karabalta, as well as honored horticulturists Popov V. A. and Ivanov V. F.
In 1992, the plant was reorganized into the joint-stock company "Dessert." Abdula Tashmatov was elected president.
JSC "Dessert" continues to grow and process vegetables and fruits, producing canned fruits and vegetables, and has a fruit storage facility with a capacity of 1500 tons.
