LLC "Kara-Balta Experimental Plant"

One of the few machine engineering enterprises where production volumes are increasing. The company specializes in the production of metal structures, non-standard equipment, and industrial pumps. Its main consumers are not only large enterprises in Kyrgyzstan but also companies from neighboring countries. As of the first half of the year 2000, the production growth rate increased by 136.7%.

The first directors of the plant were Vasily Demyanovich Solontsov and Ivan Borisovich Gorbunov. For the last ten years, the LLC "KOEZ" has been headed by Alexey Vasilyevich Khomyakov.

Optical-Mechanical Plant
Commissioned in January 1997. It produces corrective lenses, which have the advantage of photochromism or 100% protection from ultraviolet rays, safeguarding against external irritants, which helps improve vision.

The equipment was supplied by the company "Komis" (Italy)! The production capacity of the technological line is 200,000 lenses per year. The lenses meet European standards with diameters of 65 and 70 mm and refraction from 0 to +6 in increments of 0.25. The main suppliers of raw materials for the company are "Rokl Skalica" (Czech Republic) and "Corning" (France). The plant is the only one of its kind in the Central Asian region. A branded store has been opened at the plant, offering the entire range of produced goods. The director of the plant all these years has been Lyudmila Vladimirovna Marushan.
