IBRAGIMOVA Raisa Ishakovna
Architect. Born in 1952 in the city of Tashkent.
In 1974, she graduated from the architectural and construction faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute. After completing her studies, she worked at the State Design Institute "Kyrgyzpromproject." Chief architect of projects.
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1978.
In 1975, she was awarded a diploma of II degree for her diploma project: "Experimental residential complex for 5,000 residents on complex terrain for the city of Frunze," in 1981 — a diploma of III degree at the republican review of the creativity of young architects in the city of Frunze; in 1983, she was awarded a Certificate for her work in the field of industrial architecture at the creative review of architects of Central Asia and Kazakhstan.
In the last 10-15 years, significant qualitative shifts have been observed in the industrial architecture of Kyrgyzstan, due to the active contribution of architects who graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute. Raisa Ibragimova can be named one of the leading specialists in this field. During her creative career, she has created a number of interesting projects, buildings, and complexes.
At the center of her creative pursuits is always the person, their feelings, and aspirations. The need for psychological comfort leaves its mark on the final results of the projects and buildings she creates. This approach is due to the fact that a socialist enterprise performs not only purely functional tasks — production of goods, but also addresses social and aesthetic issues. The buildings designed by her projects are characterized by high inventiveness and plasticity of form.
