The Louvre resumed its operations on October 22, after having fallen victim to a robbery three days earlier. Thieves used a window to enter the museum and smashed display cases in the Apollo Gallery, where the jewels of French monarchs were kept. The Paris prosecutor's office is currently investigating two main versions of what happened. Experts believe that recovering the stolen valuables will be extremely difficult.
