During the visit, bilateral meetings are planned with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, as well as with Antonio Costa, President of the European Council.
One of the key topics will be the implementation of agreements reached at the "Central Asia - European Union" summit in Samarkand in April.
Particular attention will be paid to promoting joint projects and programs in areas such as trade, economy, investment, finance, innovation, energy, transport and communications, as well as science and education.
It is also planned to sign the Agreement on Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation (EPCA) between Uzbekistan and the European Union.
In addition, during his visit, President Mirziyoyev will meet with Belgian leaders and discuss issues of technological and industrial cooperation with top managers of leading European companies and banks.
