S. Japarov invited the Japanese company Japan DX to invest in Kyrgyzstan
The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, today, March 15, met with the Executive Chairman of the Japanese company "Japan DX," Soji Suzuki.
As reported by the president's press service, the possibility of investment cooperation in the field of mineral resource extraction and subsoil use was discussed.
Kyrgyzstan is a country rich in mineral resources, and investors from many countries around the world work in the mining sector, said S. Japarov.
"Attracting investments in the mining industry is one of the key issues for Kyrgyzstan, so the country's leadership has a clear position: those who hinder the work of investors will be held accountable, and the rights and property of investors will be maximally protected.
At the same time, it is important to ensure complete safety in the extraction of mineral resources using technological developments," said S. Japarov.
The president also added that today Kyrgyzstan places great importance on digitalization, aiming to create the necessary conditions for providing the population with affordable and quality services.
In addition, the president spoke about the ongoing work to enhance digital competence, the digitalization of education, healthcare, agriculture, the development of e-commerce, and high technologies. In this regard, he expressed interest in close cooperation with Japan in various areas, adopting its advanced experience in the use of modern technologies.
For his part, the Executive Chairman of Japan DX, Soji Suzuki, stated that the development of digital technologies is very important for countries like Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, the implementation of the latest systems in management during the extraction of mineral resources, the so-called "smart subsoil use," will significantly optimize management processes, reduce production costs, and enhance control.
S. Suzuki noted the necessity of using elements of artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cybersecurity, which is an extremely important criterion for investors.
He mentioned the company's extensive experience in implementing similar projects in other countries and expressed readiness to assist the Kyrgyz Republic in developing this direction.
At the end of the meeting, S. Japarov invited S. Suzuki to invest in other projects, stating that Kyrgyzstan's doors are always open to investors.
