Musabay Gulnara Bekturovna


Graphic artist. Born on December 5, 1954, in the city of Frunze. In 1974, she graduated from the Frunze Art College, and in 1980 - from the Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial School (LVHPU) named after V.I. Mukhina.

Since 1995, she has been the president of the League of Women’s Creative Initiative of the Kyrgyz Republic, and from 1980 to 1996, she was a teacher at the S.A. Chuykov Kyrgyz State Art College.

Through her art, Gulnara Musabay affirms the value of life in its everyday manifestations. She seems to lift the veil of the mundane routine and shows a person and the world of surrounding things through the prism of the softness of a woman's gaze.
Participant in national and international exhibitions.

The artist's works are held in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev and in museums of the CIS.

She has received the following awards: Honorary Certificate from the Ministry of Culture of the USSR and the Central Committee of the Culture Workers' Union (1986), Honorary Certificate of the Kyrgyz Republic (2000), Honorary Certificate from TURKSOY and the Ministry of Culture of Turkey for her contribution and cooperation in the visual arts of Turkic-speaking countries (2001), Diploma of Participant of the World Exhibition EXPO-2005 A1CIS JAPAN in Japan, Diploma from the State Agency for Intellectual Property under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzpatent) and the National Academy of Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic (2005).

Since 1990, she has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
