Adashkanova Danakan Osmonkulovna

Painter. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Laureate of the international award "Rukhaniyat." Born on March 20, 1951, in the village of Kara-Kuldja, Soviet district, Osh region.

In 1971, she graduated from the Frunze Art School, and then in 1979 from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin of the USSR Academy of Arts, Faculty of Painting. From 1979 to 1981, she studied in a creative workshop at the USSR Academy of Arts under the guidance of corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the USSR G.A. Aitieva.

After graduating from the institute, she worked as a painting instructor at the Frunze Art School.

Since 1988, she has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Author of lyrical landscapes. Participant in republican and international exhibitions. Her works are held in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitieva, as well as in museums of the CIS.
