Jusupov Kubanbek

Zhusupov Kubanbek
Painter, graphic artist. Born on May 23, 1949, in the village of On-Archa, Tash-Shan district, Naryn region. In 1970, he graduated from the Frunze Art College, and then in 1977 from the Estonian State Art Institute, painting department.
From 1977 to 1982, he taught at the Kyrgyz State Art College named after S.A. Chuykov. From 1982 to 1995, he worked at the Art Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic. In 1997-1998, he taught at the National Academy of Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Participant in republican and international exhibitions. The best works of K. Zhusupov are held in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev, as well as in private collections.
