Bekdzhanov Murat
Poster artist. Painter. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on November 17, 1946, in the city of Tashak. In 1966, he graduated from the Frunze Art School, and in 1972 - from the graphic faculty of the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.D. Surikov, in the poster workshop of N. Ponomarev.
Since 1976, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Despite his graphic education, Bekdzhanov is inclined towards painting, in which he prefers the portrait genre. His portraits are executed in an exquisite palette with subtle tonal developments of colors. Most often, these are mood portraits that convey the characteristic emotional state of a particular person. The artist also paints genre scenes, distinguished by the originality of theme interpretation and sharp compositional solutions. He is a participant in republican and international exhibitions. His works are housed in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev, as well as in museums of the CIS.
