Taliev Omurbek

Taliev Omurbek
Painter. Born on October 20, 1957, in the village of Gulcha, Alay District, Osh Region. In 1983, he graduated from the Kyrgyz State Art College named after S. A. Chuykov, and in 1992, from the Faculty of Arts of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (Moscow).
From 1983 to 1986, he worked as a decorator at the Alay District Department of Culture. Since 2006, he has been a special disciplines instructor at Osh State University.
Since 1996, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic. He has participated in regional, national, and international exhibitions. The best works of Taliev are in private collections abroad.
