Toktogonov Eshbolot Ajibayevich
Applied artist. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born in 1942 in the village of Soviet, Kemin District, Kyrgyz SSR.
In 1962, he graduated from the Frunze Art College and in 1971 - from the Moscow Higher Artistic and Industrial School (formerly Stroganov School), qualification - applied artist, ceramic artist.
From 1971 to 1986 - Frunze Glass Factory, chief artist, then from 1986 to 1996 - Artistic Fund of the Kyrgyz SSR, designer-artist. Since 1996 - National Academy of Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic, associate professor of the Department of Artistic Ceramics.
By nature, the artist is impulsive, versatile, inclined to experiment with form and material.
Since 1980 - member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic. The best works of Toktogonov are in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts and in private collections in the country and abroad.
