According to a survey conducted by the WEBBANKIR platform among 1,600 Russians, 74% of respondents noticed an increase in gasoline prices since August. 90% of those surveyed expect further price hikes, with 50% anticipating a sharp jump in prices.

Four-tenths of respondents reported that they have reduced the frequency of trips in their personal vehicles to save money. Additionally, 13.8% have started using their cars less often, while 13.2% have completely switched to public transport.

56% of survey participants acknowledged that the rise in fuel prices is significant, 18.9% faced gasoline shortages at gas stations, and 38% have begun using more affordable types of fuel.

Only 2.5% of respondents hope for a decrease in prices, 52.2% are confident in further significant price increases, 40.3% expect minimal growth, and 5% believe that prices will reach their peak.
