
According to the National Statistics Committee, the gross domestic product of Kyrgyzstan from January to September 2025 amounted to 1,240.5 billion soms, which is 10% higher than the figures for the same period in 2024.

Among the sectors contributing to the growth of industrial production, the following should be noted: pharmaceuticals (an increase of 2.3 times), food production (including beverages), which saw an increase of 40.1%, as well as rubber and plastic products and construction materials (31.8%). There is also growth in the production of wood and paper products (28.7%), chemical products (17.7%), textiles and clothing (8.5%), as well as in the extraction of mineral resources (16.3%).
Positive changes have also been observed in the construction sector, where volumes increased by 29.6%, in wholesale and retail trade — by 10.9%, and in agriculture — by 0.9%.
From January to September of the current year, compared to December of the previous year, the overall increase in consumer prices and tariffs across the republic was 5.5%. Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 6.4%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products — by 5.1%, non-food goods — by 3.3%, and tariffs for services to the population — by 6.3%.
Price and tariff increases are observed in all regions of the country. The highest price increase (7.5%) was recorded in the city of Osh, mainly due to the rise in prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 10.9%. In the Chui region, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 9.5%, for non-food goods in the Issyk-Kul region — by 4.8%, and tariffs for services to the population in the Talas region — by 9.3%.
The volume of foreign and mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with goods from January to August 2025 amounted to 9,848.1 million US dollars, which is 9.1% less compared to the same period in 2024. Exports decreased by 23.7%, while imports decreased by 5.2%.
The volume of mutual trade with the EAEU amounted to 3,349.0 million dollars from January to August 2025 and also decreased by 3.3% compared to the same period in 2024. Russia accounted for 65.7% of the total volume of mutual trade, while Kazakhstan accounted for 32.1%.
