In the Alamudun district, police officers detained suspects in a large-scale fraud case.
From December 2023 to July 2024, a group of fraudsters, consisting of citizens B.R., M.A., and others, deceitfully acquired vehicles of the brands "KIA Stinger," "BMW X5," and "KIA K5," which belonged to citizen I.T. They assured her that they would pay for the cars, valued at 81,000 US dollars, but after making only a payment of 14,500 US dollars, they disappeared, causing her losses amounting to 66,500 US dollars, reports the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Chui region.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was opened in the Alamudun District Internal Affairs Office under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational search activities, the whereabouts of citizens M.A., born in 1993, and T.V., born in 1988, were established, and they were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Investigative actions are ongoing, and legal assessments will be made in accordance with the law based on their results. Law enforcement agencies are also checking the possible involvement of the detained individuals in similar crimes committed in other districts of the Chui region.
