According to information from our sources, a 30-year-old man has been detained in connection with her death.
The detainee, I.A., a native of the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region, born in 1995, is currently in custody for 48 hours.
This information has been confirmed by the press service of the Osh City Department of Internal Affairs. A criminal case has been initiated against him under Article 297, Part 2, Clause 2 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic for creating a danger to consumers resulting in serious harm through negligence.
Today he was placed in a temporary detention facility for the specified period.
On September 21 of this year, Turmush reported that a tragedy occurred in the Alisher Navoi Park in Osh when an 18-year-old girl fell from a ride.
According to preliminary data, three friends were riding the "Boat" attraction, and during the ride, one of them fell.
An ambulance worker confirmed that the incident took place on September 21 at around 13:30. "When we arrived at the scene, the girl was already showing no signs of life; unfortunately, she had passed away," the doctor noted.
At a board meeting held in April 2025, it was noted that during an inspection, the rides in children's parks in Osh, including "Dream Park," "Happy Land," "Kids Land," "Illusion," as well as in the Alisher Navoi Park and "Ak-Buura," were operating without the necessary technical diagnostics and laboratory tests.
It was also found that the staff servicing these rides lacked training certificates and sanitary books.
Furthermore, sanitary norms are not being observed in children's play areas, and food vendors in the parks do not have documents confirming the quality of the products sold.
