"The Talisman of Bishkek"

Attraction «Talisman of Bishkek»
The first innovation appeared in Panfilov Park - a week ago, a new Ferris wheel, 50 meters tall, began operating there.
The opening ceremony of the attraction was a breath of fresh air in the politically charged pre-election days of the city's residents. Fortunately, no presidential candidate took advantage of it for campaigning, as their calls echoed in Bishkek from every corner during the election month. Although there were plenty of people waiting for the wheel to open, no one pushed each other, and even children were allowed to go ahead so they could see everything happening on the improvised stage. The new attraction was presented to the citizens by the Deputy Mayor for Social Issues, Aigul RYSKULOVA - the municipality provided significant assistance in its establishment in the park, as did the First May District Administration.
By the way, for the first time in the history of Bishkek, the "devil's wheel" received a name - its options were suggested by the Kyrgyz people on social media pages of the park. The winner, who received a year-long subscription for free rides, was Bektur Abdisalamov, as decided by the commission, thanks to whom the attraction is named "Talisman of Bishkek." After naming the wheel, Aigul Ryskulova cut the symbolic red ribbon and pressed the button to start the wheel, which immediately lit up with colorful LED lights. The first ride on the "Talisman of Bishkek" was taken by officials and journalists invited to the opening ceremony, after which everyone who wished could test the new attraction. Social media was flooded with photos showcasing the panorama of nighttime Bishkek.
The "Talisman of Bishkek" has become very popular among the city's residents and guests: there is a queue to ride the novelty every day, and several thousand people have already visited the attraction. Due to the excitement, its operating hours had to be extended until midnight. However, as Dmitry PETROV, the director of the LLC "Children's Entertainment," which rents Panfilov Park, told "AiF-Kyrgyzstan," this is just the first step in updating this beloved recreational spot.
