Kyrgyzstan is negotiating with Air Arabia to open flights from Sharjah to Bishkek and Sharjah to Osh this summer, reports the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On Wednesday, a meeting took place in the emirate of Sharjah (UAE) between the Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Dubai, Aibek Mamatbekov, and the Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdallah Sultan Al-Uwais. A wide range of cooperation issues was discussed.
"The head of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce was informed about the negotiations of the Kyrgyz side with Air Arabia aimed at opening regular flights this summer on the routes Sharjah — Bishkek and Sharjah — Osh," the statement said.
Currently, there is only one direct flight to the UAE on the route Bishkek — Dubai.
