The Director of the Tourism Department of the Kyrgyz Republic, Azamat Zhamankulov, spoke at a press conference about the development of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in the tourism sector.
Today, there is a direct flight from Tashkent to Tamchi. According to Zhamankulov, the issue of opening direct charter flights from Uzbekistan during the winter season is being worked on.
"If this is beneficial for Tashkent, the project will be implemented. We see great interest from our neighbors... Possible trips for employees of large Uzbek factories for health improvement at Issyk-Kul are being considered. Athletes can train there in the fall, winter, and spring, and we will reduce the cost of air tickets for them during this period," Zhamankulov said.
Let us remind you that on July 4, the first plane from Tashkent arrived at the "Issyk-Kul" airport in the village of Tamchi. The first flight brought 190 people, most of whom were tourists.
