Joint training of the CBRN units has begun as part of the "Barrier-2025" exercise organized by the CSTO. Belarusian military personnel, together with partners from other countries, are practicing actions in mountainous terrain, dealing with conditionally contaminated equipment using specialized equipment.
This exercise is the first in which a special phase related to the formation of CBRN protection and medical support is implemented within the framework of a peacekeeping operation. In these maneuvers, the joint formation, subordinate to the commander of the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces, is responsible for ensuring biological safety for the coalition group of troops.
